Today marks our 4th anniversary. We opened our doors for business on April 7th 2012. I remember our first customer… A young man visiting his parents on a break from his college curriculum purchased a 5 gallon glass carboy. It was our first sale, and the first time we processed a real sale on our point of sale/credit card processing system. I remember being a bit nervous. We had trained on the equipment with fake transactions, but this was real. The memory is a bit surreal. Of course now we can run things with our eyes closed!
The one thing that we didn’t anticipate going into business was all of the amazing people we’d meet. All the amazing customers with their amazing stories and libations, all the customers we’d soon become dear friends with. It’s because of all of you that our doors have remained open for the past four years. It’s because of all of you that we look forward to another year in business. Going forward into our fifth year, we’ll continue to stock the latest equipment, the freshest ingredients and everything else you need to make your best batch.
As a thank you to all of our customers, we’ll be having a one day sale this Saturday April 9th. Call it our Customer Appreciation Sale. In addition there might even be beer and wine samples available.
